Denise Duong was born on a cold winter morning in Oklahoma City. She is a Vietnamese-American artist with a nomadic soul with a soft spot for nature and obsessed with travel and all things that encompass it. She spent educational time at the University of Central Oklahoma and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Adventures, exploration, and emotions of life inspire the many stories and ideas in each piece. Working mainly with a mixed media of paper, acrylic, and ink, she’s able to create her texturally narrative and whimsical pieces.
